The recordings
Shine a Light documents the Stones at New York’s Beacon Theatre in 2006 for Martin Scorsese’s concert film. This expanded audio programme includes the band introductions and Scorsese’s introduction as separate tracks.
Jack White joins “Loving Cup”, Buddy Guy plays and sings on “Champagne and Reefer”, and Christina Aguilera appears on “Live with Me”. The selected twenty-four-track programme ends with “Paint It Black”, “Little T&A”, “I’m Free” and “Shine a Light”.
